What causes our Actions?
What causes our Feelings?
What causes us to BE the person we are?

Since the scientific breakthrough of learning that the brain has neuroplasticity, we are learning how much our thoughts are the ROOT of all of the above and more.

In the video below, Dr. Joe Dispenza speaks at a Ted show about how much our thoughts affect our life.  The patten is:

Thought produces Feelings,
Feelings produce Actions,
Actions produce Habits,
Habits produce Behavior,
Behavior produces our Destiny.

Our Brain
According to Dr. Dispenza, We have 3 brains which allow us to go from Thinking, to Doing, to Being.

Neocortex –  is the walnut shaped part of our brain. This is our thinking brain and the seat of our conscious awareness.  It gathers information through sensory perception.

Limpic brain also known as the chemical brain or the emotional brain.  It is the size of a lemon and is responsible for regulating chemical order.

Cerebellum is located in the back of the brain.  It is known as the seat of the subconscious mind.

FACTS

  • The brain is made of up 100 billion neurons.
  • Every time we learn something new our brain physically changes.
  • One person generates more electrical impulses in one day, then all the cell phones on the planet combined!

History
Over 2,000 years ago, God already revealed to mankind the importance of the mind and what we think.  He stated,

“As he thinketh in his heart, so is he.” (Proverbs 23:7)

Now science has discovered that this is very true.  What we think will indeed be who we become.

God also tells us what we should think:
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. (Philippians 4:8)

I encourage you to watch this video about the brain and how our thoughts are the root of many things in our lives:
