Follow these easy steps to making a delicious and healthy drink.

  1. Pick some dandelion roots from your yard or a neighbors. (Make sure that they have not been sprayed with chemicals.) It is also easier to dig them out after rain, since the water loosens the dirt. 
  2. Cut off the top part, and rinse off the roots well.
  3. Place these on a cookie sheet and put in the oven. Set the oven to warm or the lowest heat, and roast until they are brittle. 
  4. Remove from oven and grind in a blender or coffee grinder. You may use this as fresh ground coffee beans.
