Follow these easy steps to making a delicious and healthy drink.
- Pick some dandelion roots from your yard or a neighbors. (Make sure that they have not been sprayed with chemicals.) It is also easier to dig them out after rain, since the water loosens the dirt.
- Cut off the top part, and rinse off the roots well.
- Place these on a cookie sheet and put in the oven. Set the oven to warm or the lowest heat, and roast until they are brittle.
- Remove from oven and grind in a blender or coffee grinder. You may use this as fresh ground coffee beans.
