Today’s Miracle Cure are different Superfoods that offer superior nutrition to the body.  There are too many to cover here, so I will just highlight some of the exceptional superfoods.

Juice Plus
Juice Plus is my #1 choice for a SuperFood.  It is the most clinically researched nutritional product of its kind on the market today world-wide. There are more than 30 Juice Plus+ research studies that have been conducted in leading hospitals and universities around the world. The effects of Juice Plus+ are amazing. Research has shown that after being on Juice Plus+ for a few weeks, blood work reveals the following:

  • An increase in T fighter cells, which is very important for cancer patients or survivors;
  • Support and strengthening of the immune system;
  • Help to protect DNA from oxidative stress. (Studies show 66% decrease in damage to DNA in 80 days);
  • Increase in natural killer cells;
  • Reduction in Homocystein, which is more important than cholesterol for heart attack and stroke.

The Juice Plus+ Effect
Many have experienced a positive effect from taking Juice Plus+. The four most common results people have noticed are that they sleep better, have more energy, are more regular, and don’t get sick as often. I have heard many good results from those who take Juice Plus+, including helping a child’s asthma, a husband’s allergies were nearly gone, aiding in healing a child’s digestive tract, sickness leaving the home, helping with macular degeneration, and much more.

GREENS

Greens are known to lengthen life.  One of the key benefits of greens is that they are high in chlorophyl, which is like the blood of plants.  Chlorophyl is known to help clean our blood and some have used it instead of getting a blood transfusion.  Another benefit is that greens clean the liver, which is vital for detoxifying the  body.  There are many different types of Greens, so pick your choice, but make sure to eat them.  Here are a few to pick from:  spinach, kale, nettle, collard, dandelion, barley grass, endive, watercress, sorrel.

Rich in vitamins and nutrients, including calcium, iron, and vitamins A, C, and K, it detoxifies, alkalizes the body, lowers cholesterol, balances blood sugar and hormones, and relieves menopausal symptoms. Alfalfa is beneficial for anemia, ulcers, arthritis, bones, joints, digestion, bleeding disorders, and skin.  Alfalfa’s roots go deep and it is one herb and food that contains vitamin D. Though often used as animal feed, its nutritional content is highly beneficial for people too.

Microgreens are a powerhouse of phytonutrients that are immediately bioavailable to our body.  They are sprouted vegetable greens 1-2 inches tall packed with nutrients.  Compared to the full grown plants, micros have been proven to contain up to 40X the amount of essential amino acids, minerals and vitamins critical for optimal cellular function.

 There are great benefits from the superior nutrition that microgreens brings to us.  One is that it can reduce chronic disease risk.  Microgreens have shown in animal studies to help reduce heart disease risk factors by balancing cholesterol and a healthy weight.  Also free radical reduction, for lowered risk of heart disease, cancer and Alzheimer.Other benefits that Microgreens are said to help are:

Historically, Fermented Foods have been a regular part of traditional diets for many cultures.  Examples of fermented  foods are: Kefir, yoghurt, Natto, Tsukemono, sauerkraut, sourdough bread, Kimchi, tofu, pirau, rakfisk.  Fermentation increase nutrition and makes food easier to digest and assimilate..  For instance, with sourdogh bread, lectines, gluten and phytates in grains can be greatly reduced by fermentation. By fermenting dairy, the lactose is broken down as in yoghurt, kefir, and cheese and made easier to digest.

Another benefit, is that fermented foods provide helpful probiotics and enzymes. Probiotics are essential to health, they also are said to protect from colon cancer, give relief from some forms of diarrhea, reduce children’s cavities, prevent inflammatory bowel disease, and improve digestion and assimilation of minerals and vitamins. Enzymes are necessary for digestion, and life itself.

Because of the unstable conditions of many fermented foods, it is sometimes hard to find GOOD sources. Most that are on the market, have been heat-treated and do not contain the beneficial probiotics and enzymes necessary for health.
