Health 2.0 Conference ~ Amy Willis MH,CN

Last week, I was privileged to attend an extraordinary conference in Las Vegas, that brought together medical and alternative health practitioners from around the globe. The topics varied, but mainly converged on a shared mission: reimagining the future of health and healing. The conference tackled thought-provoking themes, from envisioning what a truly future-ready healthcare system should look like, to the groundbreaking idea that modern illness may be rooted in what speakers called “ancient amnesia” — a disconnection from the foundational wisdom that once guided human wellbeing.

Sessions explored the profound links between hormones and mental health, the emerging science positioning food as medicine, and game-changing advances in cancer research. Perhaps most compellingly, attendees were challenged to consider what healthcare could look like if we approached mental health with the same urgency and infrastructure we devote to heart disease — a question that clearly resonated deeply across the room.

What made this conference especially meaningful was the spirit of integration that ran through every session. Practitioners explored where faith meets psychotherapy in the healing of the whole person, and addressed the often-overlooked reality of medical trauma — both for patients and the dedicated teams who care for them. The diversity of perspectives, drawn from practitioners spanning continents and disciplines, created a rare and energizing atmosphere.

Walking away, I was filled with a deep sense of gratitude, knowing that the care we provide at Zoe Wellness Center is right in step with some of the brightest minds in medicine from around the world. This conference was a powerful reminder of why our work matters, and I am more committed than ever to bring that same innovative and integrative care to every client.
